Behaviour data of persons with cognitive disorders

Since 2016, we recorded various datasets which include activity data and behaviour annotations of people with cognitive disorders, in particular with dementia. The recordings were obtained in different nursing homes in collaboration with

  • Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen (Witten & Rostock/Greifswald)
  • Städtische Seniorenheime Krefeld
  • Charité Berlin

Data Set: insideDEM

  • Recording period: April – June 2016
  • Number of participants: 17
  • Size of the data set:
    • Sensor modalities: accelerometer, gyroscope, temperature (body, ambient), heart rate, ambient light level, ambient noise level, barometric pressure
    • Number of data points: Accelerometer: > 1,7 x 109, Ambient light level: > 4,0 x 106, ...
    • Total recording time: > 5.300 hours
    • Total data volume: > 35 GByte compressed data
