Deep learning is a hot topic in medical image analysis. Martin Dyrba will present his results on convolutional neural networks to detect Alzheimer’s disease at the workshop Bildverarbeitung für die Medizin taking place in Berlin on 16/17th of March. His main contribution is the comparison of various CNN visualization algorithms to show relevant brain regions in individual MRI scans.
